Dr. Sophie Jamal is co-director for the Toronto CaMos Centre, and is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Toronto. She has a PhD in Clinical Epidemiology and is Director, Osteoporosis Research and Clinical Programs at
Women's College Hospital. She is a member of Scientific Advisory Council for Osteoporosis Canada and a member of the editorial board for Osteoporosis International. Her major research interests, all of which are CIHR funded include: the etiology and management of bone disease in endstage renal failure, secondary osteoporosis, and novel treatments for postmenopausal osteoporosis.
